There’s a new guy in town…meet Quest Vikar IGP1, AS BT!
I’ve been searching for the right stud dog to add to our program, someone who could diversify our genetics since the last stud we brought in is closely related to two of our females. The answer came in the form of Quest!
Imported as a puppy from Czech and raised, trained, and titled by the talented Eliza Collins, Quest checks every box that matters to us.
He brings:
- A strong pedigree with no close relation to our females
- Excellent health (SV hips/elbows A normal, LUW 0)
- Steady, rock-solid nerves
In the time he’s been here with us, nothing has managed to rattle him. Quest is incredibly social and adaptable, he’ll happily work for anyone and is safe, friendly, and easy to hand off. At the same time, he shows strength in defense work and never backs down under pressure. Even though his personality is generally playful and goofy, he is a hard dog when it comes to work or the occasional correction.
We believe Quest will produce the best of both worlds: fantastic working dogs and well-rounded family companions. At home, he’s goofy, playful, and full of personality (Hype might just have some competition for the title of “house clown” 😅). Quest has a way of making you laugh and has brought some much needed joy into our home already.
So far, Quest puppies have been social, outgoing, and extremely environmentally stable. They have a nice mix of drives from medium to high. I’ve never seen entire litters not react to their microchips being inserted before – it is like his puppies don’t even notice when it’s happening. This is all of his litters so far! I have gotten a lot of rave reviews from families about their Quest puppies. I am looking forward to watching them all mature.
